Personalized psychiatry and medication management to support individual mental health needs.
Medication management is a form of outpatient treatment that includes an initial assessment, evaluation, and ongoing monitoring of one’s psychiatric needs. Medication is prescribed as needed by a licensed psychiatrist or prescribing physician. Patients usually attend medication appointments once or twice a month, at least initially, as they find a medication regimen that best supports their needs.
The supervision of a licensed psychiatrist or medical doctor is essential to avoid the risky adverse side effects of medication. Psychiatric medication can interact with other prescription medicines, supplements, vitamins, and even certain foods. Our psychiatric team at Harper Clinic will help guide you to ensure the medication you’re on is safe, effective, and aligns with your treatment goals.

Our intake process consists of a comprehensive psychiatric assessment and mental health evaluation with one of our licensed mental health professionals. This evaluation makes it easier for our psychiatric team to determine what medications, therapy, and treatment programs will be the best fit for each patient.
Whether medication is effective or not is based entirely on the patient. What works for some may not work for others. Our clinical treatment team looks at the patient’s biological factors, medical history, and psychiatric history so that each appointment is personalized to the individual’s needs. We also offer genetic and functional medicine testing to help create targeted treatment plans.
Medication management is an ongoing course of treatment. Our clinical team will meet with patients weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly to ensure medication is working properly and patients are not experiencing adverse side effects. We can change medications and adjust doses as necessary.
Our easy consultation process helps patients schedule their first medication appointment and find the relief they need.
